CoVID-19 Update : mediation services

As we have set out in our previous post, we are following government guidelines on COVID-19.

We are making our mediation services available via video-conferencing software, as an alternative to face-to-face meetings between the parties and the mediator.

Our members are also able to provide early neutral evaluation in the form of a confidential written opinion, based on reading papers and the parties’ position statements, on cases within their fields of specialism. This is a further alternative to face-to-face meeting to promote alternative dispute resolution during a period of uncertainty and likely restricted availability of court hearings for trials.
