Sarah Haren appointed to Queen’s Counsel
5 Stone Buildings is delighted to announce that our member Sarah Haren is to be appointed Queen’s Counsel in March 2021.
Sarah Haren’s practice covers a wide-range of Chancery work, both contentious and non-contentious. She has particular expertise in contentious trusts and estates litigation and substantial experience in successfully conducting and defending claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 from their outset right through to trial. She is an effective and successful appellate advocate. She also has a strong advisory and non-contentious practice, focussing on trusts, taxation and related professional negligence. Sarah has a particular interest in partnership law, having acted in several long-running partnership disputes and co-authored the sixth edition of Partnership Law (Bloomsbury) with Mark Blackett-Ord, also a member of 5 Stone Buildings
