W v P – keeping Court of Protection hearings private
The case of W v P concerns the property and affairs of P a man who used to be in the public eye who suffers from severe dementia. His wife W applied for authorisation from the Court of Protection to make a statutory will and to enter into a number of lifetime dispositions on half of P in relation to tax planning on assets of c. £20m.
